Rolling Surf is an ideal base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The cafes, restaurants and bars of Caloundra are just a 2-minute walk away. Sunshine Coast Airport is 40 minutes' drive away and it is 1-hour drive from Brisbane Airport.

Each of the contemporary apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining setting and a washing machine. All apartments offer views over the pool, the ocean or courtyard. Some apartments boast a spa bath or balcony. Initial provisions are provided for guests, including tea and coffee.

I was with my mid 80s parents and wanted to check in a little earlier if possible. The staff were not in the slightest bit interested in trying help with this request.

Great location for a quick getaway but a little disappointed
The location could not be faulted, directly on the beach.
The staff were a bit abrupt on check in and check out. There were alot of do nots on check in and a $300 credit card charge for damages, was very heafty. Not a hold on the credit card an actual charge. This was not detailed in the confirmation email other than stating the original credit card must be presented, nothing about that it would $300. When I made a suggestion to the staff that perhaps it needs to be worded on the Booking.com website better, I was met with some resistance that I was not correct. I offered to show what I had received, I was told it wasn't necessary and that Booking.com do what they want. I then commented that it isn't on their official site (Rolling Surf) either and was told that it was but you only see it on confirmation. The layout of the room was a little unusual with the spa bath attached to the main bathroom and then encroached on the living room. Not private if you were having a shower and bot the spa bath. It had plantation shutters that you could open up into the living room. The bathroom drains also were smelly. If you are wanting total block out in your room, you won't get it as the plantation shutters don't allow for it. The unit below was having renovations occurring so we were unable to have a sleep in with the noise occurring on a Saturday morning.
